Top Chefs in Action

The Grove in Hollywood teamed up with L.A. Magazine a while back to put on a Top Chef showdown between Badda Bing Betty and Stefan. As we were watching the battle, we were also treated to some delicious food tastings from select restaurants.

Everything was free--you just had to RSVP in time (there were probably about 150 people in all). I brought one of my friends, and we had a great time sampling Wagyu beef, Chicken Truffle Ravioli, and Ahi Tuna with Fennel Apple Slaw. Sipping on the complimentary wine and Evian water, it felt like we were celebrities! One of the highlights was getting our picture taken with Ilan, the winner of one of the seasons of Top Chef.
