So Brad and I visited the Rose Bowl flea market this past Sunday. It was cold, windy and overcast, but we scoured the aisles relentlessly in search of a coffee table. I guess I was expecting to find an amazing table at like $30 or something, but they were all in the $200-$500 range. I think craigslist is the better place for deals, personally. No matter, though... We had fun gawking at the beautiful vintage finds. Among the highlights were these really cool mod pieces of furniture by GoModRetro. I could definitely drop a pretty penny here. There was also a stall selling these amazing glass bottles topped with star fish and sea horses for $50-$100.
I always forget about the Rose Bowl Flea Market, I live so close to there too.

They only open on Sunday. The Doctors' house is inside the Brand Library park. The park and the library itself is quite lovely. If you follow the trail, where the Doctors' house locate and walk up the hill for 5 mins. You will see a sign to the Brand Family Cemetery. It's an interesting sight. The family grave is a pyramid!! YUP! A stone pyramid, kind of like a masonic symbol. It's a little one ... but still kind of interesting to find it in the residential area in Glendale.

Not far from the Brand Library park, there is a little village called Kenneth Village. Cute place to hang out and have a nice cup of coffee and snack. The French bakery there is very tasty!! Prices are good too!! :)
